About Me {
/Hi! I am Xixiang, a Human-AI Interaction Researcher, Creative Technologist and Designer. I am now a Computer Science PhD student at the UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Citizen-Centred Artificial Intelligence (CCAI), advised by Dr Marta Cecchinato and Professor Shaun Lawson. I am affiliated with the Urban Futures Interdisciplinary Research Theme. I am also an external researcher of the “Creativity, AI, and the Human” and “Critical Data Studies” clusters at the Edinburgh Futures Institute.
Previously, I held an MA degree in Design Informatics with Distinction from the Institute for Design Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, where I was advised by Dr Bettina Nissen. I earned a First-Class Honours BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Arts from Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton.
